Aussie author

G'day, and welcome. I live in Oz (Taree at the mo) and plan to travel the entire Australian continent in the near future. Just me and Bluey (my Nissan Nomad) with no particular itinerary...just to smell the roses and write a journal. I'm an author but only relatively recently. Before that I was in radio and TV as a writer/announcer and then got involved in the ad industry (if you can call it an industry...I reckon it's more like a cerebral wank).

Time for an update! It's 2009 already! My plan to travel Oz is getting closer, and I've already launched the web site in anticipation of the big adventure. www.aussieodyssey.com

Books? Yes, I wrote two as a consequence of meeting two remarkable teens with even more remarkable lives on the internet. I became their mentor...or fossil as they called me. Feedback from the books has been astonishing. Their stories are true but I changed names and locations to protect their identities.

Check out the books (I'm currently writing a third) at www.lulu.com/content/439077

Books? Make that five books so far (2009) and a sixth on the way. Check out my interview at www.whohub.com/garykelly

I'm Aussie, 62, male, single and have an intimate relationship with the keyboard.

Er... 64 now. Getting old, folks.

I tried to subscribe to your blog post/atom but got nothing but
gobbledegook in response. NOW
what have I done wrong?
Oh....I already KNOW who the real killer is.

"I live in my head" - I love that. It reminds me of.... me.

Gary, This is Radical Joe, I just
finished reading your other Blag,
on your Heart Attack.. You are more than amazing. I enjoyed your
writings. You truly are a gift
to all of us. I was a radio announcer back in '59, lasted only
3 months, until I went back to my
place for supper, and the snow turned to ice. Slammed into a Gasoline truck, was lucky, was single and I lived the opposite side of Michigan, I had no trans.
and went back home, was 21. Just a simple person, still trying to find my way.
